Jordye Joyce, MSHS, OTR/L – President

With over 28 years of experience in occupational therapy and special education, Mrs. Jordye Joyce brings a deep passion for student growth and success. Her mission is to create safe, welcoming spaces where students can thrive both academically and socially. She lives in Hartville with her husband, Brian, and they are proud parents to two adult children, Carson and Morgan. When she’s not working, Mrs. Joyce enjoys practicing yoga and the thrill of drag racing!

Brian Joyce – Vice President

Brian Joyce brings more than 25 years of business development and leadership experience to the team. He’s dedicated to building strong, supportive environments where students feel valued and empowered. Known for his ability to improve organizational culture and efficiency, Brian is a natural leader with a big heart for the community. He shares his home in Hartville with Jordye and their lovable golden doodle, Waffles. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and drag racing.

Dr. Valerie Riedthaler – Building Principal

Dr. Riedthaler brings more than 25 years of experience in special education, with a deep commitment to inclusion and student success. She is passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where students of all abilities can learn and grow. She lives in Cuyahoga Falls with her two cats, Potsie and Carmine.

Theresa Novak – Vice Principal

With nearly 30 years in education, Mrs. Novak has dedicated her career to building inclusive environments and celebrating student strengths. She introduced Unified Sports to Summit County and is eager to bring her experience and values—kindness, acceptance, and relationship-building—to Wings. She lives in Cuyahoga Falls with two of her children and two dogs, Bella and Indiana Bones.
